The 32nd SPAR Budapest Marathon® Festival / Marathon (42,195 km)
Running. Anywhere. Anytime. Because my shoes are always with me.
Running. Long or short. Because sometimes I don’t have enough time.
Running. Slowly or quickly. Because the pace is dictated by my heart.
Running. Usually or face new challenges. Because one is better than the other.
When I start running, my goal is to turn off. Not to survive, but to live. Descovering the place where my feet take me. Experience the weather that creates exciting situations. Experience the noises and the silence that surrounds me. Experience the power in me, the miracle in my body. Experience the smile of the oncoming unknown-familiar runners.
I have never regretted one kilometer. Even when one seemed longer than the other one. Even when I did my first half marathon (with tears). Even when I ran for Ultrabalaton in forty degrees Celsius. Even when I gave my head to run around the Lake Velence. Even when I was looking at the sunrise at the top of the Gellért Hill. Even when I increased my pace with interval training. Even when I pierced the blisters. Never.
Because I’ve always got from running. Power, energy, joy, happiness, cohesion, perseverance, liberation, joy, health, fitness, goals (longer, faster, more beautiful).
Because I’ve always learned from running. Patience, humility, anatomy, muscles, tranquility, self-knowledge.
But now I would like to give something with my run. I would like to support the healthy eating of the children in Bátor Tábor. That is why I recommend the preparation and race kilometers of my first marathon. And I would like to ask you – if you can – please help me to reach the goal with your donation – adopt a mile from my run!
