Kinizsi 100 Hiking / hiking
I am a lot of things when I’m not doing sports: an interpreter, a researcher, a friend of animals and someone, who is in perpetual motion… Always looking for a new challenge to pursue with full efforts until I reach my goal. Impossible is nothing. (Sorry, Adidas, this fits me better.)
Sport is my relaxation, I recharge my batteries by moving. Sport has always been a part of my life since childhood, I’ve always loved dancing, running, riding a bike, nowadays I’m going to the gym and performance hiking.
We have raised the bar enormously when we decided to choose an ultramarathon hike of 100 kilomteres (or 62 miles for our overseas friends) and put our efforts to good use by serving Bátor Tábor, a therapeutic recreation facility for seriously ill children and their families. All funds we raise go directly to the foundation.
We have been preparing since June ’18 by doing performance hikes, successfully completed our most difficult race yet: a 31 mile hike with 1900+ meters difference in altitude. Now we are working on bettering race time and increasing stamina. We will keep you posted about our current races and training for the Kinizsi 100 on our blog.
Please adopt a few miles of our upcoming race, and don’t worry: we have plenty of those for everyone! 😉
