Dear Visitor, By joining the Élménykülönítmény, I would like to call my friends' attention to the cause and needs of severely ill children, as well as to the dedicated and inspiring efforts of volunteers and professionals on their behalf. Bátor Tábor Foundation (literally, Camp of Courage Foundation) has been organising therapeutic recreation camps for children with malignant tumours and chronic diseases for eleven years now. With their help, 700 seriously ill children are given the opportunity each year to take part in a weeklong series of cheerful activities, whereby they can develop a sense of accomplishment, charge up their batteries, improve their self-esteem and strengthen their faith in recovery. And that is just what they need to overcome their disease! These are the feelings that make me to the line on 7 October 2012 at the 27th Spar Budapest Marathon and commit to running 42195 meters and collecting 150 000 HUF in charities.
