I loved my chiledhood. I loved to be a child. Volunteering, to me always meant an opportunity to be a child again. This was one of the reasons I first applied to become a volunteer at Bátor Tábor. The second reason is also quite easy to understand: I firmly believe that every child deserves to have a childhood as fantastic as mine was. Because that's what defines us in life. That's what defines what kind of adults we can become. This is why Bátor Tábor is a special organisation. It has the ability to give children, who are fighting chronic diseases the most defining positive experiences of their lives. Every year in Bátor Tábor, hundreds of kids' bitter memories of months, even years spent in hospitals are getting replaced by memories of fun, playing, happiness. With memories of a true childhood. To me, that's incredible. But everyone needs support. I support Bátor Tábor by running a marathon in October along with 3 of my volunteer friends. And I'm asking You to support us by adopting a kilometer from me, and by this, be part - even only with 1000 HUF - of the childhood, that every child deserves.
