I’m going to run the 34th SPAR Budapest Marathon to be held on 28-29 September 2019 this year, with a charitable purpose. I joined the runner community of Bátor Tábor Foundation organizing therapeutic recreation camping programmes for seriously ill children. My aim is to collect donations amounting to 150 000 Forint. Please, help my campaign: sponsor a mile of my run! My story: I was going through a very painful family crisis. At first I ran away from problems, then I noticed that running gives me a lot of strength, and the problems gradually disappeared. I remember the moment when I unexpectedly ran home, it was 4 am, and I just ran and ran ... Since then, I run. Just like Forrest Gump;)) Running became a part of my life, like an air. I'm really looking forward to September, because this will be my first marathon. And I am immensely grateful to the Plandurance trainers who help me with the training. Unfortunately, most people around do not understand me and my passion for running. In this case, the most frequently asked question is: “What is my goal?”. Before the Foundation, I had only one goal - to prove myself that I can run 42k. Now, this is much more. The charitable sports community of the “Bator Tabor” Foundation was created to help children with serious illnesses in Hungary. Therefore, it is a great honor to cover this distance and help these children. As a mother, I know that there is no more pain and suffering when the child is sick! And even more painful when we are helpless. There are devices, interventions, surgeries, medicines that are very expensive, but they save lives. I would like to devote a marathon to this goal, even if I manage to save at least one “small” life !!! I really ask all members of my family, friends, acquaintances, everyone who can do this, support my run and thereby support the children!
