ENDURANCE MISSION DANUBE UPSTREAM I'm J.Richárd Varga. You may have heard about the guy who paddled more than 5,000 km in a sea kayak from Northern Norway to Hungary while collecting charity kilometers for the children of Bátortábor. Well, this guy is me, and now I’m offering the kms again on another similarly crazy mission. The current goal I set was to paddle upstream on the Danube, with my girlfriend Klaudia in two solo kayaks from the Black Sea to the source region. 2850km and about 1000m sea level difference we have to overcome. We’ll spend the nights in our tent. As far as we know, in this form no one has done this yet. We will do our best! All this for a good cause! I would still like to log in on a daily basis so you can track our daily endurance.
