We spend your donation to give back the childhood of seriously and chronically ill children with the help of our method, the therapeutic recreation.
Hello, My name is Laura and I am 15 years old. Among other things I do in my busy life, I love children. An amazing place where I aspire to be a ‘Cimbi’ (buddy) for the children is Bátor Tábor. Bátor Tábor is a therapeutic recreational camp that helps kids with cancer and other serious illnesses to raise their self-confidence and heal their soul through fun activities and exciting challenges. Since I am too young to be a volunteer at Bátor Tábor, I would like to help their cause by doing sport. Sport isn't only a thing I love doing but something that also challenges me very much. This time I will be hopefully completing a half Ironman triathlon. This means 2 km swimming, 90 km biking, and 21 km running, all after each other. Similarly to the children at Bátor Tábor who are faced with new challenges every day that they are not sure they can complete, this is an event that is definitely out of my comfort zone. It would mean a lot to me if you guys supported my triatlon and Bátor Tábor by a part of my challenge and help me to achieve my fundraising goal. My goal to raise 150 000 HUF for Bátor Tábor, therefore I ask you to adopt a kilometer of the swimming, the biking, or the running, with 1000-5000 HUF to donate to this great cause! Thank you! Laura
