Welcome to my site! My name is Claudia Paar, my friends call me Kali. I'm studying at Semmelweis University Faculty of Dentistry as a 5th year student. My prospective job, and the uni itself is often quite stressful but with my running activities I can keep it under control. I fell in love with this sport during my first year at high school (quite addictive, although I strongly recommend this kind of dependence for everyone), and we stick together ever since. In May I've participated in a very decisive race. The event's name is Wings for Life, and their campaign is to draw peoples' attention to physically disabled people, who do not have the opportunity to do this fantastic sport as free as we can do. The specialty of the race is that it starts at the very same time everywhere in the world thanks to a pre-set application. To sign up to the race, you have to support the case with a symbolic amount of money (or how much you want). Physically disabled people also came to the race to express how thankful they are for our help. One of the boys bowed to me and thanked loudly that I was running for him. Well, that was the moment when running and charity intertwined in me. And actually this is why you are reading my thoughts right now. :)
