My name is László Rentka, I am a long distance swimmer. Since 2013 it has been my fourth „ Experience Commando”action to support the children in Bátor Tábor. In 2013 my mates and I completed a 33-hour relay, followed by several summer long distance swimming races. In 2014 I undertook to accomplish 1200 km-s alone, which I managed to exceed and complete 1500 km-s altogether. Now I was invited for the „Univer 24- The festival of swimming”, a 24-hour program. Since 2007 I have swum 6 times in a 24-hour program, the longest distance of which was 57 kilometers completed in Nyírbátor last year. This one will be the hardest trial of strenght for me, as during the 24-hour swimming race my mates and me will be able to have only a fifteen-minute break every 3 hour according to the rules of long distance swimming. As usual, I will have several helpers both outside and inside the pool. I am confident that our great undertaking will be succesful and at the same time I ask everybody to symbolically adopt some of our kilometers, this way supporting the adventure therapy camping of the children in Bátor Tábor.
