15 years in Wonderland
We spend your donation to give back the childhood of seriously and chronically ill children with the help of our method, the therapeutic recreation.
They have already supported
15 years in wonderland, 15 years as a therapeutic horse riding activity leader. 15 years, 16 sessions, 18 camp dance stored in the memories (sort of 😅)and countless happy moments. Hundreds of roles in the games: princess (of course), Bollywood dancer, a fish that turned into a frog, superhero, the daughter of a Native American chief, rockstar, snow woman, a zebra that lost its stripes and many more other fun roles, I could talk about until the morning. But as the campers call the activity volunteers: the crazies. The crazy….that’s exactly how I feel after deciding to run the 100K on trail. Like if the distance wasn’t enough, let’s throw few hills and sandy tracks in the mixture. But now I have decided to run it, and I will complete it, why don’t I support an awesome cause with it. Afterall, a 15th anniversary deserves a big celebration 😊 Bator Tabor (the camp of courage) changes lives since 2001, by providing therapeutic recreational activities to seriously ill children and their families, and also to those families who have suffered the loss of a child. And as the therapeutic recreation centre of the Central European region, they also provide the life changing experiences to children from Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, not just from Hungary. Please support my mission with your donation, to give the opportunity for even more children, affected with a serious illness, to experience the magic that happens here.
