Kollár Lili

Dear All, My name is Lili Kollár and I am from Hungary. Currently I’m working at Sziget Cultural Management Ltd’s Marketing Department. In my free time I play tennis, go hiking, travel or hang out with my friends. There is a quote, which is very close to my heart: “When you set out in the world to help yourself, sometimes you end up helping everybody.” So I have planned the following: On the 5th of April I will set off on the Camino route, where I plan to walk 250 kms from Porto to Santiago de Compostela in two weeks. What made me to do this? Many things. I've been thinking about starting it for about 2 years, but I haven't had the courage to take the first step till now, despite having been abroad on my own several times. Then after a while I felt that I had so much pain, trauma and questions that there was no other option but to go, in the hope of gaining some strength and finding answers to many of my questions while walking the road alone. As I don't want these 2 weeks to be all about me, I want to support a good cause with these 250 kilometres. I would like to raise at least 250,000 Ft (around 665 EUR) for a Hungarian foundation called Bátor Tábor, which has been helping seriously or chronically ill children and their families since 2001 to make painful hospital treatments more bearable and put a smile on the faces of these children. It won't be an easy two weeks, but it won't even come close to what these children and their families go through every day. That's why I would like to ask you to support this cause and thus motivate me to complete this journey. A few euros can already make a difference, many little ones go a long way.
