"If you want to run, run a mile. If you want to experience a different life, run a marathon." I have already experienced a different life since I started to run and now I feel it is time to try to make a difference for others. I want to help children with serious illnesses to experience the brighter side of life opposite to the scary one. Therefore, I dedicate my marathon to Bátor Tábor ("Camp of Courage") that offers complex therapeutic recreation programs for children with cancer, diabetes, JRA or haemophilia and will raise funds for them with your kind help, my friends. I offer every mile of the marathon distance for adoption. I will work hard to keep a smile on my face during the 26.2 miles and you can keep children smiling in Bátor Tábor by donating an amount of your choice. Even the smallest donations can add up, allowing more than 800 children with chronic illnesses to rediscover the joys of childhood and restore hope through opportunities offered at Bátor Tábor.
