Doing right is never wrong. Being honest and trustworthy is the way to live. Perhaps a slight twist of the facts might bring a short term gain. A little misrepresentation might bring some short term satisfaction. But in the end truth always wins, so live like a winner. Bátor Tábor was established in 2001, and offers complex therapeutic recreation programs for children with cancer, diabetes, JRA or haemophilia and for their families. In the summer Children’s Camps, in the spring and fall Family Camps and Sibling Camps are offered free of charge to the campers and their families. The campers in our sessions who can participate in programs that they otherwise might miss out on due to their illnesses. Be it rowing, horseback-riding, archery, arts & crafts, dancing, music, sports, acting or high-ropes courses, all programs are meant to provide a feeling of success, which positively influences their self-esteem and recovery process. In the past 10 years, due to the cooperation of the hospitals, over 4400 campers came to camp. Even the smallest donations can add up, allowing more than 800 children with chronic illnesses to rediscover the joys of childhood and restore hope through opportunities offered at Bátor Tábor. You may think that your contribution will not be enough to help, however, at Bátor Tábor, even the seemingly smallest donations have sense and purpose!
