We spend your donation to give back the childhood of seriously and chronically ill children with the help of our method, the therapeutic recreation.
My name is Jonas Garberg, currently I am studying at Skagerak International school in Sandefjord, Norway. I am a part of the Skagerak CAS team that are going to run the Oslo Anton Sentrumsløpet as a charity run for Bátor Tábor. I have always been a very active person, and I enjoy running. So when I heard that there was a possibility to be a part of a charity run for a cause like Bátor Tábor, I just had to take part in it. Bátor Tábor is a camp for children diagnosed with serious illnesses, offering complex therapeutic recreation programs to help them overcome their problems, building them up to live happier lives. Children struggeling with cancer, diabetes, JRA or haemophilia get to experience an accepting and loving enviroment, filled with others like them. An adventure like Bátor Tábor is extremely valuable for these children, as fear and anxiety often makes normal life difficult. I think it is an amazing cause, and I feel lucky to be a part of it. Please stand by me, by sponsoring a mile or two of my run. Thank you!
