I am András Mikecz – a marathon runner, a lifestyle changer, and a supporter of a good cause. A few years ago, it seemed unthinkable that I would ever run marathons. My lifestyle change started in the fall of 2018: I lost more than 26 kilos, regained my health and self-confidence. At first, I could only run 100 meters, but now I am a multiple marathoner – I have completed the Rome Marathon, among others, and recently conquered Kékestető. But now I am not (only) running for myself. I am currently raising money for the Bátor Tábor Foundation so that we can organize experiential therapy programs for seriously and chronically ill children completely free of charge. These programs not only bring smiles to faces, but also give strength to heal. I believe that change is possible – whether in the life of one person or in the joyful moments of many children. If you believe in this too, please support my run, and through it the children! We move together – not only towards the goal, but also for each other. ❤️
