When I ran my first half marathon, I learned what perseverance, discipline, and not giving up truly mean – especially when every step feels heavy. Back then, I wasn’t wearing a purple shirt yet, but I remember seeing the Bátor Tábor Élménykülönítmény supporters along the course – the “purple-shirted” team cheering for every runner, even for complete strangers. Their energy, smiles, and encouragement gave me so much strength when I needed it most. Now, as I prepare for my second half marathon, I want this run to be about more than just my own finish line. That’s why I joined the Élménykülönítmény team – a community that not only runs, cooks, makes music, or celebrates together, but also gives courage, joy, and smiles to seriously ill children. Bátor Tábor has been changing lives for over twenty years, offering life-changing experiences to children and families affected by serious illnesses – all completely free of charge, made possible solely through donations. Through my run, I want to help support their work. You can “adopt” my kilometers – even the price of a coffee or a movie ticket can make a real difference. A small gesture for you, but a huge gift for the kids who face their own daily battles with incredible strength. My goal is to bring a little more hope with every step I take. Thank you for supporting my run and for helping me give courage to those who need it the most. 💜
