By joining Élménykülönítmény (“The Troop of Philanthropists”) for the Budapest Marathon, we would like to inspire our friends, colleagues, relatives to open up for a common charity purpose. Bátor Tábor Foundation organizes free recreational camps for seriously ill children and their families since 2001. Every year more than a 1000 children have participates in the camps, which aim to provide children who are exhausted and have low self-esteem due to their illness and hospital treatments with enjoyable experiences and a sense of achievement. Participation in camps increases their self-esteem and allows them to forget their problems for a while. These experiences are lasting, and will be remembered by the children long after the camps. As one of the kids said: “The doctors gave back my life, Bátor Tábor gave back my willingness to live.” On 11th October 2015 we will line up for these goals and memories on the SPAR Budapest Marathon. Please support us by adopting one of our kilometers by raising a few thousand forints. Together we can make a difference.
