Over the past few years, we’ve done all sorts of things together, but one thing that definitely wasn’t on the list was running. Ten years ago, Boti lost his love for running after an injury, while I somehow lost mine without ever even trying it. Every now and then, we talked about starting again — or starting in the first place — but somehow we never got around to it. Until now, when we finally found something worth running for. This year, I spent my third summer volunteering at Bátor Tábor, and for the third year in a row, Boti has been listening to me enthusiastically talk about it. The camp gives life-changing experiences and strength to children whose everyday lives hold far more challenges than ours. So we decided to put on our running shoes and run a marathon relay together at this year’s SPAR Budapest Marathon, for the kids supported by Bátor Tábor.
