We spend your donation to give back the childhood of seriously and chronically ill children with the help of our method, the therapeutic recreation.
My name is Thomas Solvi, and I'm currently doing the Diploma Programme at Skagerak International School (SIS) in Sandefjord, Norway. Through an arrangement at the school, some students are going to visit a camp in Hungary named Bátor Tábor (Camp of Courage), which focuses on helping children and youths with chronic diseases. At the camp, we will join in on activities and get to know these kids and see what they've been through, all from cancer to diabetes. Before we go on the trip we are going to collect money, which is why we are running in a marathon in Oslo the 21st of September. We aim to get as many sponsors as possible before the race, and all the money that we raise will go to the camp, which does not get any economical support from the government; it relies completely on donations.
