We spend your donation to give back the childhood of seriously and chronically ill children with the help of our method, the therapeutic recreation.
My name is Jonas Garberg, currently I am studying at Skagerak International school in Sandefjord, Norway. This is my second year as a part of the Skagerak CAS team that is going to run the Sandefjordsløpet as a charity run for Bátor Tábor. Bátor Tábor is a camp for children diagnosed with serious illnesses, offering complex therapeutic recreation programs to help them overcome their problems, building them up to live happier lives. Children struggeling with cancer, diabetes, JRA or haemophilia get to experience an accepting and loving enviroment, filled with others like them. An adventure like Bátor Tábor is extremely valuable for these children, as fear and anxiety often makes normal life difficult. I have always been a very active person and I enjoy running, so this is and has been an amazing way for me to combine two things I am passionate about. It is an amazing cause and I really hope you can help us make a difference for these kids. Please stand by me, by sponsoring my run! Thank you!
